Full Court Press Picks:

Point Guard

Elite

Jamal Murray

Welcome to Denver Nuggets chalk night, but honestly for me it almost all starts here.  This is the best spot, because the Hawks have been one of the absolute worst vs. point guards this year.  Murray is a clear and away favorite for me in this game.

Mid

Collin Sexton

Tim Parker and I are on the same boat tonight, the Cavs are a potentially forgotten team as a result of all the Nuggets chalk.  Since when did we stop picking on the Wizards?  They’re 19th in defensive efficiency and 6th in pace.  That usually results in some great fantasy stats against.  Hill is gone now, so Sexton is free and clear to be the guy.

Lonzo Ball

Less than inspiring night, but I kinda like some options in the Memphis game despite the slow pace.  I probably won’t play Ball in more than 1 lineup tonight, but if you’re doing MME, get a little exposure.

Punt

Terry Rozier

Shooting Guard

Elite

D’Angelo Russell

The battle of New York tonight gives us a Brooklyn star facing the worst team in the league DvP to SG this year.  He’s a high usage and high volume player, facing a team that’s bad defensively. Definitely a consideration for me, but I do like the mid range alot more.

Mid

Jordan Clarkson

Same story as Sexton above, except I think Clarkson will be very chalky.  That being said, I love the idea of playing him tonight.

Kent Bazemore

The Hawks won’t get much attention unless you consider playing the Nuggets as attention, but Baze is in a sneaky spot against a team in the bottom half of the league DVP to SG.  He’s seeing great minutes, and is dirt cheap on DraftKings.  He’s projected for a 6.1x return by our site.

Punt

Alec Burks (favorite)

Malik Beasley

Monte Morris

Small Forward

Elite

Lebron James

There’s going to be alot of punting tonight, so I’ll be paying up to James in the process of that simply because I’ll have the money, and I’ll take the raw points he provides.  I’m not sure he’s in a great spot here, and I Definitely don’t see him returning a full chunk on the salary.  But I’m also alot more comfortable taking him and hoping than leaving a few grand on the table in salary.

Mid

Juancho Hernangomez

Atlanta is awful defensively and he’s playing lights out.  Chalk city Nuggets strike our list again.

Bojan Bogdanovic

Massive pace up situation for this guy, and I love the spot.  Sacramento is not a good defensive team, and this guy can score in bunches if he gets hot.

Punt

Cedi Osman (one of my least favorite Cavs, Nance is my least favorite, I won’t even list him.)

Power Forward

Elite

Kyle Kuzma

The Grizzles are 3rd DVP to Power Forwards this year, so the matchup looks not ideal on the surface.  However they’re also a terrible rebounding team, mediocre at guarding the 3, and poor on the fast break and committing fouls.  Kuzma can do some damage here tonight.  He’s been playing really well recently, and on DK he’s still under 7k.

Sabonis note…if he plays, play him.  Not sure what we’ll know in advance, but if you think he’s gonna play, run him and enjoy.

Mid

Bam Adebayo

Until Whiteside returns this guy will be playable as long as his price stays down. He got a significant price bump on DK overnight, but I still think he can over achieve against a team bottom half of the league in rebounding.  The Clippers are also one of the most blocked teams in the league and allow a ton of paint points.

Lauri Markkanen

Marvin Bagley III

Punt

Trey Lyles (punt of the night, just play him despite the chalk IMO)

Center

Elite

Nikola Jokic

Smash spot absolutely, but I have a very real blowout concern here.  I may be paying down at center a little tonight for guys I think will be in close games.  However Jokic is in a massive smash spot tonight, so if you trust him to get full minutes, run him with confidence.

Mid

Enes Kanter

Tristan Thompson

Al Horford

Myles Turner (DK ONLY)

Sneaky favorite tonight, in a HUGE pace up situation against a team bad against Centers.  On DK Only, he may be my favorite sneaky play of the night.

Punt
